Credit Bureau:
Identity theft is becoming more and more common in today’s society.  We want to make you aware of what steps you can take in protecting your identity.

• Keep items with personal information in a safe place.
• Only give out your personal information when absolutely necessary.
• Don’t throw away but shred all documents with personal information on them.

Under Louisiana law, residents can request one free credit report a year.  If you have any question about your credit report you can contact one of the three reporting bureaus.
